Our Lil’ Dragons program offer more than cliché themes like focus, confidence, or discipline.

Why some are skeptical about Kids Karate Classes:

The challenge with many kids karate Toronto classes is that they aren’t organically organized to be age-appropriate, or they simply focus on the art of Karate.
We step up and fill in the gaps. There are also separate classes for 4 -5 year olds, and 6 – 7 year olds; making sure your child is appropriately challenged.

What’s different about Kids Karate Toronto classes at Evoke?

Our age-appropriate lessons incorporate movement from martial arts disciplines like taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, hapkido, and karate. It is designed to help enhance motor skills and athletic performance in children ages 4 to 7.

What does your child get from our classes?

FAQs About Evoke’s Kids Karate Toronto Classes:

Will Kids Karate Lessons Make My Child Aggressive?

No. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Martial arts teaches kids self control and non-violent approaches to resolving conflict. Our age-appropriate curriculum is also designed to use language and teaching concepts that is relevant to their specific stages of development and growth.

Can Girls Do Karate Or Is It Just For Boys

Sure. We have lots of girls in our Lil’ Dragon program, and a good number of our instructors are also female. Our Kids Karate classes are great for boys and girls.

Are Your Kids Karate Classes Safe?

Yes. They are also beginner-friendly. Your child’s safety and well-being is always a priority in the way we structure the classes and organize their lessons.

My Child Is 3 Years Old. Can They Attend Too

Having taught kids for 20+ years, we have found that 3 year olds are still quite young for our Lil’ Dragon program. We recommend waiting till they are past 4 years old, and have at the least started JK.

Joining a kids karate Toronto class at age 4+ will be enable them to get a lot more out of their classes, and have a much more rewarding experience.

What If They Don't Stick To It

As a parent we recognize that you want to make sure that we are a good fit, and avoid a situation when your kid doesn’t want to attend.

This is partly why we also offer a 3-week trial that is a great way to have your child attend a few classes before deciding to commit to a membership.

My Child Is Older. Do You Have Programs For Older Kids

Yes we do. There are separate classes for older kids (ages 8 – 12) and also for teenagers (ages 13 – 17).

We have tried other kids Karate Toronto schools. This is the only one our son took well to and loves! He’s enthusiastic and looks forward to them every week.
