We have been members at an Evoke for years now and it has been one of the best decisions our family has ever made. The amount of care and thought that is put into every program makes it clear that this dojo is a labour of love. It is rare to find a program that is well thought out, authentic, challenging and rewarding, and Evoke's Lil' Dragons program is just that. The children aren't just learning martial arts, they are learning life skills. Each lesson is imbued with the pillars of discipline and respect that are essential not only to a successful martial arts practice, but also to living life with integrity even when they get off the mat. The instructors are experts at bringing out the best in the kids, while emphasizing accountability and rewarding progress. We are so lucky to have such an ethical and ambitious dojo in our community, and our children's lives have been so enriched as a result. Evoke is truly a rare gem. Thank you so much to all the instructors who make the Evoke team #1. You guys rock, thanks for doing what you do!

Both of our kids joined Evoke Little Dragons at age 5, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. Through martial arts, they’ve learned discipline, focus, and commitment, but even more importantly, kindness, respect, and resilience. Each class begins with a character trait of the week, which sets the tone and helps kids practice these values in a fun, meaningful way. The instructors are skilled, patient, and engaging, making every lesson enjoyable and educational. Beyond just martial arts, Evoke is a supportive community where kids grow not only physically but also emotionally and socially. We’re so grateful to be part of it!

I signed up my son for a trial this past summer after trying several other martial arts programs around the city. After one trial class my son was committed to return - a naturally shy boy, my son really took a liking to the large bright space and reasonable sized classes. Evoke is truly a community that pushes growth in their discipline, respect for others and overall fun and learning.

Absolutely! Keep in mind that this is a themed camp, and as such the entire day is not dedicated to just martial arts training.

We organize our camps to be beginner friendly, and require no prior martial arts experience.

Kids also participate in weekly field trips, outdoor activities, special workshops, and of course martial arts fun.

Our well-structured curriculum is fun, engaging, and great for beginners. In fact, quite a few of our current students actually started out in our Toronto march break camps.

Every year, we offer a week of March Break Camp (dates subject to the TDSB school year calendar), and 6 to 8 weeks of Summer camp in July and August.

The online registration portal also provides real time numbers on spots available.

Some weeks are really popular and fill up quickly. Early enrolment is always recommended.

We use a camper-staff ratio of about 6:1 to ensure that each child receives the attention they deserve.

Once we exceed our ratio, we close up that week to new registrants.

In every week of camp, our team work their hardest to ensure your child stays active while enjoying exciting martial arts moves, participate in life-skills workshops like Bully proofing and Stranger awareness, Arts & crafts, Outdoor activities and more.

Official camp hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Drop-off start from 8:45am through 10:00am.

We also offer complementary aftercare until 5:00pm. Later pick up outside these hours may incur additional fees. Please call us to discuss accommodations for extended after care – (416)440-2828.

Each week of our kids’ day camp is packed with non-stop fun, exciting outdoor activities, arts & crafts, and martial arts.

However, their entire day is not just “Karate”.

Summer Campers also participate in powerful character-building exercises, age-appropriate workshops, and educational field trips.

Also, no previous experience is required. We provide kids a perfect balance of fun and learning!
