I signed up my son for a trial this past summer after trying several other martial arts programs around the city. After one trial class my son was committed to return - a naturally shy boy, my son really took a liking to the large bright space and reasonable sized classes. Evoke is truly a community that pushes growth in their discipline, respect for others and overall fun and learning.

I have been a part of Evoke's Hapkido classes for 10+ years now. In that time, the passion for the art that the instructors have has been transferred to me. As I trained, I have continued to love my time on the mats tackling new challenges and pushing myself; both mentally and physically. The instructors are always encouraging and give useful feedback to help my skills develop. Furthermore, the facilities are incredible too. There are washrooms, changerooms, two big mat areas and the best part, everything is super clean. The other students in the classes are also wonderful, always kind and helpful, willing to work through challenges together. Master Dayo and Ms Tess have fostered not just a wonderful martial arts environment but more importantly a wonderful community I am lucky to call a second family.

Love this class - have my 4 year old son enrolled and it teaches more than just martial arts, it teaches etiquette, respect and life lessons as well as boosting confidence. A nice clean and bright facility, awesome instructors and a family atmosphere.

Very fun. A/C is great and since I have asthma, it makes it easier to catch my breath. Instructors are so kind and helpful. The classes are just challenging enough to get through while resetting from the day and motivates me to work towards improving something each time. I like how they DON’T pressure you into membership commitments right away with vague sales tactics. It was actually recommended to start a class pack to build a routine before committing to a membership plan. And yes I will be getting a membership.

Toronto Summer Camp

How is Evoke different from other Kids’ Summer Camp Toronto offers

Whether your child loves staying active, making new friends, or learning new skills, our summer camp is an incredible opportunity for growth.

Evoke Martial Arts Toronto Summer Camp offers the perfect balance; allowing kids to stay active while empowering them to unleash the best versions of themselves.

We offer a summer experience that’s more than just a camp – it’s a journey toward empowerment, learning, and unforgettable memories.

  • Experienced and well-trained camp team: We don’t outsource our staff. They are regular members of our instructor team; some of them have been with Evoke since they were little kids themselves. Our team members are experienced, well-trained, and love working with kids.
  • Age-Specific Activities: Although our Toronto summer camp is designed for children ages 5 to 12, we separate them into different age groups. The older kids are with kids their age, and the younger ones are in a different age group. This is ensure your child is properly engaged and enjoying activities that are curated for their motor skills and stages of development.
  • Inclusive Community: As a marital arts studio, we foster a family-like atmosphere that encourages community, mutual respect, and self-discipline. We nurture an empowering camp environment that offers a balance of structure, learning, and fun!

At the end of each day some summer campers don’t even want to leave because they are having so much fun 🙂

Evoke’s Toronto Summer camp registrations can also be done over the phone, or you may call us if you have any questions we can be of assistance with.

FAQ About Evoke’s Summer Camp

You can do that right here on this page. Scroll up or down to the online registration section, or give us a call (416) 440-2828.

We can help you get set up for the summer camp week(s) of your choice, and process your child’s enrollment over the phone.

Absolutely! Keep in mind that this is a themed camp, and the entire day is not dedicated to just martial arts training.

We organize our camps to be beginner friendly, and require no prior martial arts experience.

Kids also participate in outdoor activities, special workshops, and of course martial arts fun.

Our well-structured curriculum is fun, engaging, and great for beginners. In fact, quite a few of our current students actually started out in one of our Toronto summer camps.

Every year, we offer a week of March Break Camp (dates subject to the TDSB school year calendar), and 6 to 8 weeks of Summer camp in July and August.

Scroll up or down for our complete list of camp weeks.

The online registration portal also provides real time numbers on available spots per week.

Some weeks are really popular and fill up quickly. Early enrolment is always recommended.

We use a camper-staff ratio of about 6:1 to ensure that each child receives the attention they deserve.

Once we exceed our ratio, we close up that week to new registrants.

In every week of camp, our team work their hardest to ensure your child stays active while enjoying exciting martial arts moves, participate in life-skills workshops like Bully proofing and Stranger awareness, Arts & crafts, Outdoor activities and more.

Official summer camp hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Early drop-offs start from 8:45am.

There is complementary aftercare until 5:00pm. Accommodations for later pick up may incur additional costs.

Please call us to discuss extended care accommodations – (416)440-2828.

Safety is always a priority, so we diligently follow Public Health Guidelines with regards to our camp operations.

We were also able to navigate through the challenges of managing the global pandemic just a few summers ago.  Thankful those trying times are behind us now 🙂

Each week of our kids’ day camp is packed with non-stop fun, exciting outdoor activities, arts & crafts, and martial arts.

However, their entire day is not just “Karate”.

Evoke’s Toronto Summer camp activities also incorporate powerful character-building exercises, age-appropriate workshops, etc.

Also, no previous experience is required. All activities are fun, safe, and age-appropriate.

Sure. Simply give us a call.

Please note the difference between changing and cancelling summer camp weeks.

A change of week is simply switching one week for another, with no change to the total number of weeks enrolled.

Since enrolment is limited, we can not guarantee a spot will be available in the week or weeks that you seek; so please consider your weeks carefully.

Also, switching to another camp week may incur additional charges if your original camp week was purchased at an early bird rate.

We understand that plans change, and we do our best to accommodate requests up to 10 days prior to the registered camp week as long as there are available spots.

Typical items are bottled water, sun screen and weather appropriate clothing during outdoor trips; 2 snacks and a sack lunch – except for Fridays when we host our fun pizza parties.

reminder list and itinerary is also provided to parents the week prior to their summer camp.

Yes, we understand that plans can change.

However there are No Refunds for cancellations after May 31st (February 18th for March Break). Some camp weeks are really popular, and often book up quickly.

As a courtesy to families, a change of week or camp credit for future use will be offered instead.

We do not outsource our summer camp staff.

They are members of Evoke Martial Arts instructor team.

Our team members are well-trained, have years of experience, First Aid & CPR certified, and love working with kids.

Some of them also have E.C.E backgrounds.
